The logo's author Esmeralda about her inspiration said: "As I was going from sketch to sketch, I started thinking about who Jesus is, what He means to us, who Jesus is for young people, why young people need Jesus. Then the key words came to me – Jesus, a new beginning ("jauns sākums', young people ("jaunieši", friend, foundation... And then the idea of the letter J came to me quite simply and easily, how to play with it, which symbolizes both Jesus and young people. Then I wondered how He unites us all. And then the answer came, that through his body, Matthew 26:26. So I depicted this passage of scripture with the Host and transformed it into a graphic element, as the letter J (the Host, broken into 4 parts, which also symbolizes that Jesus' body is divided and there is ENOUGH for everyone).
